Visiting Enterprises to Expand Posts & Deepen Cooperation, University-Enterprise Collaboration to Cultivate Talents

On July 7, a delegation led by Jiang Dongchu, Dean of the School of Information and Electronic Engineering, Deng Yangbao, Vice Dean, Zhu Qiuxiang and Zhao Zhengchun, Directors of the Electronic Engineering Department from Hunan City University, visited Huizhou MTN for inspection and research to advance university-enterprise cooperation.Senior management of the company accompanied the whole visit. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on industry-education integration, targeted talent delivery and long-term strategic cooperation.

The delegation toured the company’s production workshops and product exhibition area on site, and received briefings on the enterprise’s operating status, core businesses, talent vacancy demands and future development plans.The university team focused on inspecting the working environments of electronic-related positions in the enterprise to learn about the post adaptability of the college’s graduates.

After the site visit, the two parties held a university-enterprise forum, with outstanding graduates of Hunan City University Class of 2026 currently working at the company specially invited to attend.

The company’s senior leaders expressed gratitude to the college for its continuous supply of high-quality talents, and introduced the company’s talent vacancies, job performance of alumni employees, as well as the internal talent promotion system.

Graduate representatives shared their personal career growth experiences. Combining real workplace conditions, they put forward reasonable suggestions on the college’s professional teaching and practical training programs. University leaders asked detailed questions about alumni’s salary packages, career development and living conditions at work, and collected cooperation demands from both sides.

Dean Jiang Dongchu stated that the college focuses on cultivating application-oriented technical talents in the electronic information field. This enterprise visit and research constitutes a vital measure to deepen industry-education integration and expand employment posts through enterprise outreach. He pointed out that the enterprise’s business scope is highly aligned with the college’s majors, and the alumni on staff boast excellent comprehensive qualities, laying a solid foundation for university-enterprise cooperation.

During the forum, both sides reached a consensus to establish a long-term and in-depth strategic university-enterprise cooperation partnership. They finalized a preliminary cooperation framework covering customized order-class training, student on-the-job internships, faculty industrial practice, industry-university-research collaboration, and graduate employment recruitment.

This exchange built a two-way bridge for university-enterprise cooperation. Moving forward, both parties will refine the cooperation plan and push forward the signing and implementation of cooperation agreements, so as to achieve a tripartite win-win situation featuring talent cultivation by the university, talent recruitment by the enterprise and high-quality employment for students.
