Leaders from Longgang District United Front Work Department & Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau Visit MTN Headquarters for Research and Guidance

On the afternoon of August 12, Shenzhen MTN Electronics Co., Ltd., a council member entity of the Longgang Overseas Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce, welcomed a research delegation led by Liu Quan, Deputy Director of the Longgang District United Front Work Department and Director of the Longgang District Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau. This special corporate visit organized by the Chamber of Commerce aimed to conduct on-site research on the operation status of member enterprises and collect their development demands and suggestions.

Huang Wei, Deputy General Manager of MTN and Council Member of the Chamber of Commerce, accompanied the entire research tour. Wu Bing, President of the Longgang Overseas Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce, Liu Jianhong, Executive Vice President & Secretary-General, Xu Pengkun, Council Member, Chen Tao, Rotating Deputy Secretary-General, as well as outstanding entrepreneur representatives Ni Jianxin, Zhong Teng and Yuan Lina also attended the site visit and forum.

Deputy Director Liu Quan and his entourage toured MTN’s exhibition hall and office areas. They inspected the company’s working environment, operation model and core business layout in detail, and raised targeted questions about MTN’s current operations, industrial layout and market expansion to gain a full picture of the company’s development momentum.

Following the site tour, an exchange forum was held in MTN’s conference room, hosted by Liu Jianhong, Executive Vice President & Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce.

At the opening of the forum, President Wu Bing extended sincere gratitude on behalf of the Chamber to the District United Front Work Department and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau for their long-standing support and guidance to the Chamber and its member enterprises including MTN. He elaborated on the Chamber’s recent work achievements and outlined its future development roadmap from multiple dimensions: the implementation of the "Five-Four-One" Development Plan, empowerment via the Overseas Business Support Package, expansion of global partner networks, and innovative initiatives launched by the Overseas Chinese Business Opportunity Committee.

During the exchange session, participating entrepreneurs shared candid insights on the current macroeconomic climate, industry prospects and practical operational hurdles. All attendees agreed that amid widespread economic headwinds, the internal communication and resource matching platform built by the Chamber delivers robust support for stable operation and breakthrough growth of all member enterprises, serving as a core driver of high-quality corporate development. They unanimously proposed establishing a regular government-enterprise communication mechanism to eliminate communication barriers and streamline feedback channels for corporate demands.

In addition, representatives held in-depth discussions on international brand communication for the Chamber and its member firms. They suggested leveraging the Chamber’s overseas associations and overseas Chinese leader resources to integrate high-quality overseas Chinese resources, build smoother channels for international communication and brand promotion, and help MTN and other member enterprises expand overseas markets and elevate global brand influence.

After listening carefully to all entrepreneurs’ remarks, Deputy Director Liu Quan fully recognized the development accomplishments of the three visited enterprises. He noted that MTN and the other two firms have deepened their niche sectors and prioritized innovation, fully embodying the pragmatic work ethic and strong development resilience of overseas Chinese enterprises based in Longgang.

He encouraged all young overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to stay confident in business development, actively align with Longgang’s "All in AI" and "Hongmeng District" development strategies, seize opportunities brought by digital and intelligent transformation, and continuously refine core businesses and strengthen brand competitiveness.

Meanwhile, he urged the Chamber to keep leveraging overseas Chinese connections as a bridge, give full play to its platform strengths and the hub role of the Overseas Chinese Business Opportunity Committee, and further refine signature events including the Hundred Enterprises Tour, Government-Enterprise Exchange Salon and Overseas Business Support Package. The Chamber shall unite more young overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to pool collective strengths and contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of Longgang District.

This on-site inspection fully reflects the high attention and care that the District United Front Work Department, Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau and Overseas Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce have given to MTN. Moving forward, MTN will live up to the expectations placed upon us: we will stay focused on core businesses and technological innovation to consolidate core competitiveness. Drawing on platform resources from the Overseas Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce, MTN will shoulder greater corporate responsibilities and pursue steady growth, contributing more corporate power to the high-quality development of the regional economy.
